Spanish Colonial

This is a home that belongs to its neighborhood while quietly setting a new standard for it. On a site ripe for reinvention, we saw an opportunity to honor the architectural heritage of one of San Diego’s most storied neighborhoods. We started fresh and designed a classic, sprawling Spanish Colonial that speaks directly to the Mediterranean and Spanish homes surrounding it — terracotta roof tiles, arched entries, warm wood details, and white stucco that glows in the California sun. Inside, we broke from the traditionally closed nature of Spanish architecture, opening the floor plan wide with large windows that flood every room with natural light. Every detail was considered: the brass and black iron hardware, the layered lighting, the flow from room to room. The result is a Spanish Colonial that feels as though it has always belonged here — because in every way that matters, it was designed to.
